| Phil Gordon and expert commentator | 12th January, 2006 |
Phil Gordon is better known as the expert commentator who presents Bravo's hit show Celebrity Poker Showdown alongside David Foley. Phil did not land that position for no reason at all as he is a more than seasoned poker pro himself. His biggest achievement to date, a 4th place at the 2001 World Series of Poker main event for which he scored a major $400,000 win. Phil has also won the World Poker Tour's "Bay 101 Shooting Stars" tourney in 2004 taking home a total of $360,000.
Additionally, Phil Gordon is a hard core adventure traveller, having visited 6 continents and over 50 countries on his trips. To quote himself he has "dived with the Great White Sharks, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, tracked gorillas in Uganda, snow boarded down the highest sand dunes in the world, and rafted the Zambezi River."
