| Swede beat Moneymaker | 23rd January, 2006 |
If you've ever played at PokerStars, you're probably well aware of Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker and Joseph Hachem. We're obviously talking about the World Series of Poker championship titles, which they both scored in 2003, 2004 and 2005. A Swedish poker champion is here to upset the stars by proving that he's the better heads-up player.
The Swedish champion known by the name Ken Lennárd previously beat Greg Raymer in a heads-up earlier this year and continued his rampage on the Americans after defeating Chris Moneymaker last weekend just before the European Poker Tour finals in Copenhagen.
Coming up is a game between 2005 champion Joseph Hachem. We do not have a scheduled date for this game, but it's set sometime during 2006. The rules of the game are, you must hold the bigger stack of chips after one hour of play, or win all of the chips.
Ken Lennárd managed to beat Chris Moneymaker with the highest pair on the table, after Moneymaker had gone all-in with mid pair. | | | - written by Betty Holden |
